Through HARMONY, the group is involved in discussions of MRD as a risk factor and possible surrogate endpoint in AML. Authorship of specific MRD papers needs confirmation before this is a featured project.
Why it matters
Measurable residual disease may refine risk after treatment and, if validated as a surrogate, could shorten trials.
Approach
HARMONY Alliance analyses discussed by Turki at ASH 2025. In the VJHemOnc interview he attributes a large MRD-surrogacy analysis to a colleague. Public copy must not over-claim authorship.
